Suprasorb A + Ag is a special dressing that has both antimicrobial and wound healing properties.It is particularly suitable for infected or vulnerable wounds, including those infected with MRSA or VRE .The bandage is soft and supple, adapts well to the wound base and has a high exudate absorption capacity.When it comes into contact with wound fluid, it forms a gel that absorbs bacteria and germs and thus helps clean the wound.This promotes a moist wound climate and supports wound healing.

Product composition

The dressing consists of calcium alginate fibers and silver alginate fibers containing 1.5% ionic silver.

Areas of application

Suprasorb A + Ag is used for the treatment of wounds at risk of infection or infected, which can be heavily exuding, superficial or deep.

Indications

The dressing can be used on various types of wounds, including pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, postoperative wounds and split-thickness skin donor sites.

Suprasorb A + Ag is particularly effective in the exudation phase and the granulation phase of wound healing.

Notes

The dressing change interval is determined by the treating doctor.Depending on the degree of exudation, the dressing may remain in the wound for up to 7 days.In the case of infections, an occlusive secondary dressing should only be used after the doctor's decision.
