Instructions for use for Suprasorb A + Ag Antimik.Cal.A, 5 pcs
Product features
Suprasorb A + Ag is an antimicrobial calcium alginate dressing with silver. This dressing reduces the germ load directly in the wound bed and is therefore particularly suitable for infected or at-risk wounds, including those with MRSA or VRE.In addition to its antimicrobial effect, Suprasorb A + Ag also offers a soft and supple wound cover that adapts well to any wound base. The high exudate absorption capacity of Suprasorb A + Ag is particularly evident in heavily exuding wounds. When it comes into contact with exudate, the dressing forms a gel in which bacteria and germs are absorbed. This not only promotes a moist wound environment, but also helps clean the wound.Overall, the high exudate absorption capacity supports wound healing.
Product composition
The dressing consists of calcium alginate fibers and silver alginate fibers with a content of 1.5% ionic silver.
