Instructions for use of the article Vliwaktiv AG Activated charcoal absorbent pad with silver 10x10 cm: - A skin-friendly, breathable fleece cover promotes the transfer of exudate into the absorbent core. - The activated charcoal has the property of adsorbing bacteria. - The liquid-inhibiting underwear protection prevents the penetration of exudate. - The compress absorbs wound odours and wound exudate. - It has an antibacterial effect due to the silver content (Ag), even with multi-resistant germs such as MRSA and VRE. - It binds endotoxins. - The additional protective layer prevents the penetration of wound exudate. - Note: Please do not cut, as activated charcoal particles could get into the wound. - Vliwaktiv Ag is effective against MRSA and VRE. - Silver is effectively effective against a wide range of pathogenic germs, especially against MRSA- and VRE-strains. - The application is carried out according to the usual standard: cleaning the wound, applying the Vliwaktiv Ag absorbent dressing pad with the activated charcoal side to the wound and fixing the dressing. - The product composition consists of activated carbon fibre impregnated with silver, polyester/polyethylene, polypropylene, cellulose and hot melt adhesive. - Areas of application are critically colonised or infected, malodorous wounds, wounds with increased risk of infection and heavily exuding superficial wounds. - The size is 10 cm x 10 cm. - Manufacturer: Lohmann & Rauscher GmbH & Co.
