Information for use with the article FERRO SANOL COMP: Indications: - Iron deficiency anaemia (anaemia due to iron deficiency). - Iron deficiency with simultaneous prevention of folic acid and vitamin B12 deficiency Dosage and directions for use: - Children from 6 years and adults take 1 capsule 3 times daily, before or after a meal, unchewed and with sufficient liquid. - The capsule can be taken with liquid, alternatively the capsule can be opened and only the contents swallowed. - The duration of use should be determined in consultation with a doctor Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to active substances or other ingredients - Various types of anaemia, haemochromatosis, haemolysis, lead anaemia and other iron or vitamin B12 deficiency anaemias. - Children under 6 years of age - Caution in case of intestinal ulcers Side effects: - Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, diarrhoea, constipation. - Consult doctor or pharmacist in case of any disturbance of condition or changes during treatment Composition: - Active ingredients: iron(II) glycine sulphate complex, folic acid, vitamin B12. - Other ingredients: various excipients Mode of action: - Iron is important for the formation of red blood cells and is involved in many metabolic processes in the body. - Folic acid and vitamin B12 are important in the formation of blood and other metabolic processes in the body.
