Amorolfine Dexcel 50 mg/ml is a nail varnish for the treatment of fungal infections of the nails without involving the nail root. The active ingredient amorolfine fights a variety of different fungi that can cause fungal nail infections. The nail varnish should be applied once a week to the affected fingernails or toenails until the diseased nails have grown back completely healthy. Before application, the diseased parts of the nail should be filed off and cleaned. No cosmetic nail polish or artificial nails should be used during application. Rare side effects such as nail changes, temporary burning and allergic reactions may occur. If severe allergic reactions occur, the medicine should be discontinued. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. Amorolfine Dexcel is available in different pack sizes and should be kept out of the reach of children.
