Omniflora N is a traditional gastrointestinal medicine taken to support intestinal function. It contains lactic acid bacteria that support the development of intestinal flora and intestinal function. The areas of use include the treatment of intestinal sluggishness and diarrhoea. The recommended dosage for adults is 1 hard capsule 3 times daily, but can be increased to 2 hard capsules up to 3 times daily if needed. After symptoms have subsided, a maintenance dose of 1 hard capsule per day is recommended. Infants aged 1-2 years should consult a doctor before use and receive 1 hard capsule 1-2 times daily. Omniflora N is not suitable for use in children under 1 year of age. The hard capsules should be taken unchewed with a little liquid at mealtimes. In young children, the capsule can be opened and the contents mixed with liquid or porridge. The duration of treatment is not limited, but a treatment of 7 to 10 days is recommended. In case of acute diarrhoea lasting longer than 2 days or worsening, a doctor should be consulted. Store at room temperature and the medicine should not be used after the expiry date. Side effects are not known. People with allergies or hypersensitivity to certain ingredients should not use the medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use. No interactions with other medicinal products can be detected.
