Directions for use of the article Moronal Suspension. The active substance nystatin is used for the local treatment of oral thrush and for the sanitation of the intestine in yeast infections. It can also be used for fungal infections of the skin and mucous membranes. The dosage depends on the severity of the disease and the age of the patient. Gastrointestinal complaints, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, skin rashes and hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. The medicinal product should be stored out of the reach of children and below 25°C. It contains sucrose and may be cariogenic. No specific symptoms are known in case of overdose.
