B12 Ankermann Injekt 1,000 µg is a preparation for the treatment of severe vitamin B12 deficiency.Vitamin B12 is essential for health, performance and well-being.A deficiency of this vitamin is widespread and can be quickly compensated for with this preparation.It enables the vitamin B12 level in the blood to be raised quickly and the body's own vitamin B12 stores to be replenished.One ampoule contains 1000 µg of vitamin B12 in the form of cyanocobalamin.This preparation is particularly suitable for vitamin B12 deficiency, which cannot be corrected through diet.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The ingredients of B12 Ankermann Injekt 1,000 µg include 1 mg cyanocobalamin as the active ingredient.As excipients, it contains acetic acid 33%, sodium chloride, water for injections and a total of 23 mg of sodium ions.

Area of application

B12 Ankermann Injekt 1,000 µg is used for severe vitamin B12 deficiency.It is particularly suitable if the deficiency cannot be compensated for by diet.The preparation helps to quickly increase the vitamin B12 level in the blood and replenish the body's stores.

Dosage

At the start of treatment, 1 ml (1 ampoule) is administered once or twice a week in the first two weeks after diagnosis, corresponding to 1000 - 2000 µg cyanocobalamin per week.If there is evidence of a vitamin B12 absorption disorder in the intestine, 100 µg cyanocobalamin is then administered once a month.

Intake

The medicine is usually administered intramuscularly, but can also be given slowly intravenously or subcutaneously.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to cyanocobalamin or any of the other ingredients of the product.
