Directions for use of the article Venentabs ratiopharm Retardtabletten: Venentabs-ratiopharm Retardtabletten are a herbal vein remedy and are used to treat complaints of disorders of the leg veins. These complaints include swollen legs, varicose veins, a feeling of heaviness and tightness, pain, itching, tiredness in the legs and calf cramps. The medicine should be taken unchewed with some liquid in the morning and in the evening before meals. The first treatment success may occur after 4 weeks. Long-term treatment is possible, but medical advice should be sought in the case of inflamed skin, phlebitis, hardening of the subcutaneous tissue, severe pain, skin ulcers and suddenly swelling legs. The medicinal product must not be used by persons who are hypersensitive to horse chestnut seeds or any of the other ingredients. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the medicinal product. Other measures, such as wrapping the legs or wearing support stockings, should also be observed.
