Description

Ardeycholan is a herbal medicine made from artichoke (Cynara scolymus) leaves.The bitter substances in the artichoke promote the production of gastric juice and bile acids and stimulate the gallbladder to release more bile juice into the intestines.This product is available without a prescription.

Area of application

Ardeycholan is used for digestive problems (dyspeptic complaints), especially for functional disorders of the biliary system.If symptoms last longer than a week or recur periodically, a doctor should be consulted.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to artichoke leaf dry extract, artichokes, other composite plants or any of the other ingredients.It is also not permitted to be taken if the bile ducts are blocked, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.In addition, the preparation must not be used in children under 12 years of age as there are no sufficient studies on this.

Dosage
