Directions for use Talcid Liquid: - Active substance: hydrotalcite - Indications: Treatment of stomach ulcers, duodenal ulcers, heartburn and acid-related stomach complaints. - Dosage: Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults take 1 sachet 1-3 times a day, between meals and at bedtime. - The duration of use should not exceed 2 weeks - Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the ingredients, phosphate deficiency, impaired kidney function. - Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Use after consultation with a doctor. - Possible side effects: Constipation, diarrhoea, vomiting, increased magnesium and aluminium levels in the blood. - Storage: keep out of reach of children, do not use beyond expiry date - Further information: Check aluminium levels in case of impaired kidney function, possible interactions with other medicines
