Panto Aristo® contains the active ingredient pantoprazole, which blocks a pump that produces stomach acid.This reduces the amount of acid in the stomach.The tablets are used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux in adults.Reflux occurs when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus and inflames it.This can cause a burning sensation in the chest and a sour taste in the mouth.

Symptoms can be relieved after just one day of treatment, although the medicine does not always provide immediate relief.To relieve the symptoms, it may be necessary to take the tablets over 2-3 consecutive days.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Panto Aristo® contains the active ingredient pantoprazole.Each enteric-coated tablet contains 20 mg pantoprazole (as sodium 1.5 H2O).The other components include:

Tablet core: maltitol, crospovidone (type B), carmellose sodium, sodium carbonate, calcium stearate (vegetable).

Tablet coating: poly(vinyl alcohol), talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 3350, deoiled phospholipids from soybeans, iron (III) hydroxide oxide x H2O (E 172), sodium carbonate, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) dispersion 30%, triethyl citrate.

Area of application

Panto Aristo® is used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux in adults.The tablets should be taken at the same time every day before a meal and swallowed whole with a little water.The recommended dose is one tablet daily and should be taken for at least 2-3 consecutive days.

If symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks or even worsen, a doctor should be consulted.The medicine should not be taken for longer than 4 weeks without consulting a doctor.

Contraindications

Panto Aristo® must not be taken if you are allergic to pantoprazole or any of the other ingredients.The medicine should also not be taken together with HIV-protease inhibitors such as atazanavir or nelfinavir.

Dosage

The recommended dose is one tablet daily.Care should be taken not to exceed the recommended daily dose of 20 mg pantoprazole.The tablets should be taken over at least 2-3 consecutive days.If there is no improvement after 2 weeks or the symptoms get worse, a doctor should be consulted.The medicine should not be taken for longer than 4 weeks without medical advice.

Intake

The tablet should be taken at the same time every day before a meal.It must be swallowed whole with a little water and must not be bitten or broken.

Before taking Panto Aristo®, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if certain health conditions exist, such as prolonged treatment of heartburn, liver problems, a history of stomach ulcers or stomach surgery, or if non-prescription medicines are regularly taken to treat digestive disorders.

Panto Aristo® should not be taken by children and adolescents under 18 years of age as there is insufficient safety information for this age group.

Pregnancy

Panto Aristo® should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.In such cases, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking the medication.
