Riopan Magen Tabletten Mint are chewable tablets for the treatment of heartburn and acid-related stomach complaints and for the symptomatic treatment of stomach and duodenal ulcers. The active ingredient magaldrate neutralises excess stomach acid. The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 1-2 chewable tablets several times a day as needed, but not more than 8 chewable tablets (6400 mg Magaldrate) per day. The tablets can be chewed or sucked. Treatment should only be given for a short time and a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist or recur. Riopan Magen Tabletten Mint contain sorbitol and are not usually suitable for children under 12 years of age. It should be stored at temperatures below 25°C. Side effects may include soft stools. The medicine should be used with caution in certain diseases and during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Interactions with other medicines are possible. The package leaflet should be read before use.
