Instructions for use for IMAZOL Paste, 25 g

Imazol Paste is a medicine for the treatment of fungal infections that can be treated with clotrimazole, such as nappy dermatitis. It is applied thinly to the affected skin areas and massaged in. The application period is up to 4 weeks. Side effects may include redness, burning or stinging of the skin. The medicine must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or other ingredients, on newborn babies in the first 4 weeks of life and on the chest during pregnancy. Imazol Paste contains cetylstearyl alcohol and butylated hydroxyanisole, which may cause skin irritation. An overdose is not known. No special storage conditions are needed and the expiry date should be observed. Imazol paste is available in 25 g and 30 g tubes. The package leaflet should be read before use and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted in case of side effects.
