The active ingredient of this preparation is calcium diacetate with an amount of 950 mg per dose, which corresponds to 240.73 mg of calcium ion.In addition, it contains various excipients such as carboxymethyl starch, sodium salt type A, croscarmellose, sodium salt, gelatin, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, corn starch, refined castor oil, saccharin, sodium salt, sucrose, talc and orange flavor as well as bergamot oil.The total amount of sodium ion in the excipients is 23 mg.

Contraindications

This preparation must not be taken if you are allergic to calcium acetate or any of the ingredients mentioned.The preparation should also not be used if there are low phosphate concentrations in the blood, increased calcium concentrations in the blood, increased excretion of calcium in the urine associated with calcium-containing kidney stones, decalcifying tumors and secondary ulcers in the bones, severe kidney failure without dialysis treatment, constipation, known narrowing of the colon or abnormal bone decalcification as a result of long-term lack of exercise.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose for adults is 1/2 - 1 film-coated tablet for breakfast, 1/2 - 1 film-coated tablet for a snack, 1 - 3 film-coated tablets for the main meal and 1 - 2 film-coated tablets for dinner.The dosage should be adjusted according to the amount of food consumed and thus the amount of phosphate.If you overdose, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.Forgotten intake should not be compensated for by double dosing.
