Clotrigalen cream is a medicine used to treat fungal infections of the skin. It contains the active ingredient clotrimazole, which is effective against various types of fungi, such as thread fungi, yeasts and moulds. The cream is applied thinly to the affected skin areas and should be used 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment is usually at least 4 weeks, but can vary depending on the type of infection. In rare cases, local skin reactions such as redness or burning may occur. The medicine should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the active substance or other ingredients. During pregnancy, the use should be discussed with the doctor. The cream should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date.
