Directions for use of the article CLOTRIGALEN. CLOTRIGALEN Cream contains the active ingredient clotrimazole and is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, fungal infections in the folds of the body, athlete's foot, fungal infections between the toes or fingers (interdigital mycosis), fungal infections on the nail wall (nail circulation), skin lichen caused by pityriasis versicolor and dwarf lichen (erythrasma). These are fungal infections caused by yeasts, filamentous fungi and other fungi. It is important to read the package leaflet and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. Fungal infections of the skin are unpleasant for many people and can cause itching and damage to the skin. The duration of application of the cream depends on the type of symptoms and/or the course of the disease. As a rule, however, the duration of application should be up to 4 weeks, even if the complaints have already subsided before that. There are some contraindications to the use of CLOTRIGALEN cream. It should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Special precautions should be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side effects may occur when using the cream, such as hypersensitivity reactions of the skin like burning or stinging of the skin and redness of the skin. The cream is applied thinly to the affected skin areas and rubbed in. Regular and sufficiently long application of the cream is important for the success of the treatment. There are some indications that should be observed, such as caution in case of allergies to antifungal agents and possible interactions with other medicines. The cream should not be put in the eyes.
