Description

Clotrimazole, the active ingredient in Clotrigalen pump spray, is a treatment for fungal infections.It is effective against filamentous fungi, yeasts, molds and other pathogens such as Malassezia furfur as well as infections caused by Corynebacterium minutissimum.These can manifest themselves as athlete's foot, fungi of the skin and skin folds, bran fungus, dwarf lichen and superficial candidiasis.

Application

The solution is sprayed thinly onto the infected skin areas 2 to 3 times a day.Press the spray head 1 or 2 times with each use, which is sufficient even for large-scale fungal infections.The spray distance should be 10 to 30 cm.

Regular and sufficiently long use is important for the success of the treatment.The duration of treatment depends on the extent and location of the disease.In order to achieve complete healing, the treatment should not be stopped after the acute symptoms have subsided, but should be continued for a treatment period of at least 4 weeks.

Pityriasis versicolor generally heals in 1-3 weeks.In the case of athlete's foot, treatment should be continued for about 2 weeks after all signs of the disease have disappeared to prevent relapses.After each wash, the feet should be dried thoroughly, especially the spaces between the toes.

Ingredients

1 ml solution contains 10 mg clotrimazole as the active ingredient.The other ingredients are propylene glycol, macrogol 400 and isopropyl alcohol.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients.The solution must not be used on the breast area during breastfeeding.

Application instructions
