Product features: INTRASITE Gel is a hydrogel that gently removes dead tissue with little pain. It does not affect healthy tissue and can maintain or create an ideal moist wound environment to accelerate wound healing. Easy and controlled application is made possible by the application system and stable gel structure. Properties and benefits: The hydrogel supports autolytic debridement, absorbs slough, eschar and excess exudate and creates an ideal moist wound healing environment. As a result, the newly formed tissue is not affected and further wound damage is reduced. The gentle action is painless and supports healing. The application is suitable for all stages of the wound healing process. Indications for use: INTRASITE Gel is used to remove coatings from shallow or deep wounds. It can be used for various types of wounds, such as decubitus, leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, malignant wounds, scalds, burns, surgical wounds, lacerations, abrasions, amputations and fungal wounds. It is also suitable for the moisturising treatment of granulating and epithelialising wounds and can be used on infected wounds under systemic antibiotic therapy.
