Instructions for use of the article Intrasite Gel Hydrogel Wound Cleanser INTRASITE Gel is a hydrogel that gently detaches dead tissue without affecting the healthy tissue or surrounding skin of the wound. It can also be used to maintain or create an ideally moist wound environment to speed wound healing. The gel can be used at all stages of the wound healing process and offers easy and controlled application thanks to the application system and stable gel structure. Properties and benefits: - Assists in the gentle and painless removal of dead tissue. - Absorbs sloughs, scabs and excess exudate - Does not affect newly formed tissue - Creates an ideal moist wound healing environment - Simple and controlled application Indications for use: - Removal of coatings from shallow or deep wounds (e.g. decubitus, leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, malignant wounds, scalds, burns, surgical wounds, lacerations, abrasions, amputations and fungal infected wounds). - Moisturising treatment of granulating and epithelialising wounds - Infected wounds under systemic antibiotic therapy.
