INADINE M is a non-adherent wound dressing made of woven cellulose acetate impregnated with 10% povidone-iodine. The povidone-iodine molecule has broad antimicrobial activity against various types of microorganisms. The dressing minimises adhesion to the wound bed, reduces the risk of damage to granulation tissue and has been shown to relieve pain. The colour of the dressing changes from orange to white to indicate the time of dressing change. INADINE can be used for chronic wounds, minor burns and superficial injuries with skin loss. It can be used as a primary dressing or in combination with other dressings. INADINE is manufactured by the company 3M Medica.
