Each capsule contains 250 mg of magnesium oxide, which is equivalent to 150.7 mg of magnesium ion.Other ingredients include microcrystalline cellulose, macrogol 6000, polyoxyethylene (40) monostearate, magnesium stearate, gelatin and sodium dodecyl sulfate.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity reactions can occur to all medicines, in which case the intake must be stopped immediately.The medication must not be taken if you have severe kidney dysfunction, a disease of your own immune system with severe muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis) or disorders of the conduction of impulses in the heart muscle (AV block).

Dosage

The dosage depends on the degree of magnesium deficiency.Adolescents and adults take one capsule each morning and evening, which corresponds to 250 mg of magnesium oxide.

Intake

The capsules should be taken with plenty of liquid, such as a glass of water.It is best taken before meals.

Patient information

There is no time limit on the application.Soft stools can be the result of taking high doses of magnesium.If diarrhea occurs, the daily dose should be reduced.If you take higher doses of magnesium for a long time, especially if you have impaired kidney function, the magnesium levels in your blood should be checked regularly.
