Artelac EDO eye drops are a medication for the symptomatic treatment of dry eyes and for wetting and rewetting contact lenses. The eye drops contain the active ingredient hypromellose and are used to relieve symptoms of drying of the cornea and conjunctiva. This can be caused by tear secretion and tear function disorders, local or systemic diseases or incomplete eyelid closure. Symptoms such as burning eyes, foreign body sensation and photophobia in wind, heat and fatigue can be relieved. It is recommended to drop one drop into the conjunctival sac 3-5 times a day or more frequently. The medicine can also be used to moisten contact lenses. It is important not to exceed the recommended dosage. The medicine contains the active ingredient hypromellose, which ensures adequate moistening of the cornea and conjunctiva. The preparation does not contain any preservatives and is therefore particularly suitable for users who do not react to preserved artificial tear substitutes. However, a doctor should be consulted before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. No special storage conditions are required.
