Ratiopyrin tablets are an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory medicine. It is used for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over for acute mild to moderately severe pain. The tablets contain the active ingredients acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol and caffeine. The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is 1-2 tablets up to 3 times a day, 4-8 hours apart. The maximum dose of 6 tablets per day should not be exceeded. The tablets can either be dissolved in liquid or taken unchewed with plenty of liquid. The duration of use should not exceed 3-4 days. The dose should be adjusted in case of liver or kidney dysfunction. The medicinal product must not be used in children under 12 years of age.
