Floradix Iron 100 mg forte film-coated tablets are used to treat iron deficiency conditions. The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid to avoid possible damage to the mucous membrane. Adults take 1 film-coated tablet 2 times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the disease. Side effects may include gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea and diarrhoea. The medicine should not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients, iron utilisation disorders or excessive accumulation of iron in the body.
