Kephalodoron® 5% tablets

Kephalodoron® 5% tablets are an anthroposophic medicine used to treat migraines and vascular headaches.Migraines typically manifest as moderate to severe, often one-sided headaches that are described as pulsating, throbbing, or pounding.Physical activity can worsen the pain, and nausea and vomiting often occur.

The unique composition of Kephalodoron® 5% is particularly suitable for treating these complaints.In the case of inflammatory reactions, such as those that can occur in the blood vessels in the brain during a migraine, quartz helps to reseal the blood vessels that have become too permeable during a migraine attack.

Application

The usual dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is 1-2 tablets 1 to 3 times a day.Children aged 5 years and over receive 1 tablet 1 to 3 times daily.The tablets should be swallowed whole with water.

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 3 days, you should consult a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should be discussed with a doctor.If you develop any new, persistent or unclear symptoms, please consult a doctor.

Notes

Kephalodoron® 5% tablets contain lactose and wheat starch.No prescription is required for this product.

Kephalodoron® 5% tablets must not be used in cases of iron storage and utilization disorders, in diseases with an increased breakdown of red blood cells (chronic hemolysis), in cases of hypersensitivity to wheat or one of the other ingredients and in children under 1 year of age because of the ingredient Mel (honey).Kephalodoron® 5% tablets should not be used in children aged 1 to 5 years as there is no adequately documented experience.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: 1 tablet contains 10 mg of ferrum quartz original substance.1 g of original substance contains: Ferrum sulfuricum 0.64 g, Mel 0.32 g, Vinum 0.02 g and Quartz 0.16 g.

Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, wheat starch, calcium behenate.
