The active ingredient is Escherichia coli strain Nissle 1917. 1 ml suspension contains bacterial culture with Escherichia coli strain Nissle 1917 corresponding to 108 reproducible cells (CFU).The other ingredients are purified water, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate and sodium hydroxide solution 32%.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken if your child is allergic to Escherichia coli strain Nissle 1917 or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the instructions for use or exactly as discussed with your doctor or pharmacist.Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is: For diarrhea: Infants, small children and children 1 ml 1 to 3 times a day. For diarrhea during tube feeding: Infants, small children and children 1-5 ml once a day. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Duration of use: For acute diarrhea up to 5 days, for long-standing diarrhea up to 15 days.For diarrhea with tube feeding, up to 5 days per diarrhea period.Treatment should be continued for a few days after treatment success begins.

If you have given your child more than you should, no special measures are necessary.If you have given too little or forgotten to take it, do not use a double dose.Continue taking it while maintaining the previous dosage.If you stop taking it, no precautionary measures are necessary.
