Nurofen Immedia film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient ibuprofen and are used to relieve mild to moderately severe pain such as headaches, toothaches and period pains. They can also be used to reduce fever. The maximum daily dose for adults is 1200 mg of ibuprofen, divided into three individual doses. Children under 12 years of age should not take the medicine. It is recommended to take the film-coated tablets unchewed with plenty of liquid. In case of overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and headache may occur. Do not take for more than 3 days for fever or 4 days for pain unless recommended by a doctor. The medicine is not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Various side effects may occur, such as gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness and skin reactions. It should be stored at room temperature and away from heat.
