Headaches - these are the typical causes and symptoms
Around 29 million people in Germany are affected by so-called tension headaches. This most common type of headache is characterized by dull, pressing and sometimes pulling pain in the entire head area.A slight sensitivity to light and noise may also occur.Unlike migraines, physical activity does not worsen the pain and is even recommended. The causes of tension headaches cannot be clearly identified, but they can be caused by factors such as stress, too little sleep, problems with the chewing system, poor posture, smoking or excessive alcohol consumption.
Effectively counteract tension headaches
Relaxation techniques and stress management mechanisms as well as sufficient rest breaks and exercise in the fresh air are proven measures to prevent headaches. If your muscles are tense, massages, saunas or placing warm cherry stone pillows can help relieve tension. For mild to moderate headaches, a reliable painkiller such as NUROFEN® Immedia 400 mg film-coated tablets is also recommended. Thanks to the combination of ibuprofen with the amino acid lysine, NUROFEN® Immedia 400 mg not only takes targeted action against the pain, but also very quickly, as the active ingredient can dissolve better in the body and therefore reach the scene of the problem more quickly.
Quick help for pain
Ibuprofen not only relieves pain, but also reduces inflammation in the body and reduces fever. Thanks to this triple effect, ibuprofen-based preparations such as NUROFEN® Immedia 400 mg film-coated tablets are also used to treat migraines, shoulder pain, neck pain, joint pain, toothache, body aches and fever associated with a cold. Many women who have abdominal cramps during their period rely on the proven active ingredient, which is also used for mild to moderate period pain. The film-coated tablets are particularly pleasant to use and noticeably relieve unpleasant symptoms after a short time. NUROFEN® Immedia 400 mg is suitable for young people aged 12 and over.
