Femikliman uno is a herbal medicine used to relieve psychological and neurovegetative symptoms caused by menopause.The active ingredient in this preparation is Cimicifuga rhizome dry extract.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application include hot flashes, sweats and sleep disorders that can occur in connection with menopause.Femikliman uno contains lactose, which should be taken into account in case of intolerance.

Application and dosage

The recommended dose is one film-coated tablet of Femikliman uno once a day.The tablet should be taken with sufficient liquid, preferably at the same time of day, either in the morning or in the evening.Do not take Femikliman uno lying down.You should not take the medicine for longer than six months without medical advice.

If you take more Femikliman uno than you should, please inform your doctor.This can decide on any necessary measures.The side effects listed below may occur more frequently.Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Femikliman uno can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Possible side effects include gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, allergic skin reactions such as rash, itching and hives, facial edema, peripheral edema, weight gain, liver damage and abnormalities in liver function tests.

Warnings and precautions

Femikliman uno must not be taken if you are allergic to Cimicifuga (black cohosh) or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.If your menstrual period is disrupted or returns, or if other symptoms persist, are unclear or new, you should consult a doctor.Estrogens may only be taken at the same time under medical supervision, as Femikliman can intensify their effects.

Patients with a history of liver disease should take Femikliman uno with caution.Patients should stop taking Femikliman uno immediately and consult a doctor if signs of liver damage occur.If you are or have been under medical treatment for an estrogen-dependent tumor, you must not use Femikliman uno without your doctor's recommendation.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Femikliman uno should not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Storage

Keep Femikliman uno out of the reach of children.You must not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister pack.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.Do not store above 30°C.

Composition

The active ingredient is Cimicifuga rhizome dry extract.One film-coated tablet contains 6.5 mg dry extract from Cimicifuga rhizome (4.5-8.5:1), extractant: ethanol 60% by volume.The other ingredients are cellulose powder, highly disperse silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 4000, corn starch, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A) and titanium dioxide (E 171).

One film-coated tablet contains 0.01 bread units (BE).
