Euminz®, solution for application to the skin. Active substance: peppermint oil. Indications: For external use in mild and moderate tension-type headaches.

p2: Product properties

Euminz® is a herbal medicinal product for the external treatment of headaches. It is used topically for mild and moderate tension-type headaches.

p3: Directions for use

The medicine should always be used according to the package leaflet or after consultation with a doctor or pharmacist. In adults and children 6 years and older, Euminz® should be applied evenly to the forehead and temples using the applicator. The application can be repeated every 15 minutes if necessary, but not more than three times within 2 hours. If there is no improvement after 2 hours, the treatment should be discontinued.

The medicine should be kept out of reach of children and below 25°C.

Possible side effects may include skin irritation. A doctor or pharmacist should be contacted if symptoms occur during treatment.

p6: Contraindications

The medicinal product should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients and in children under 6 years of age. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use.

The medicinal product contains the active substance peppermint oil and ethanol.

Peppermint oil has an antispasmodic effect in the gastrointestinal tract, is a flatulant and stimulates bile flow and appetite. By stimulating cold receptors, the oil blocks pain receptors and has a cooling effect on swollen mucous membranes.
