OmepraDex 20 mg enteric-coated hard capsules contain the active substance omeprazole, which is used to treat reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid regurgitation. The capsules reduce the production of stomach acid and thus relieve pain and discomfort. They are taken once a day, unchewed, with a glass of water. The dosage should not be exceeded and should only be taken for a short period of time unless otherwise directed by a doctor. Side effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort or headache may occur. The medicine must not be taken if there is an allergic reaction to omeprazole or other proton pump inhibitors. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before taking the medicine.
