It is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain, such as headache, toothache, period pain and/or fever. The recommended dosage is based on body weight: - Children 6-9 years (20-29 kg): 1/2 film-coated tablet (200 mg ibuprofen) to 1 1/2 film-coated tablets (600 mg ibuprofen) per day. - Children 10-12 years (30-39 kg): 1/2 film-coated tablet (200 mg ibuprofen) to 2 film-coated tablets (800 mg ibuprofen) a day - Children and adolescents 12 years and older and adults (40 kg and over): 1/2-1 film-coated tablet (200-400 mg ibuprofen) up to 3 film-coated tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) per day. The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid (e.g. a glass of water) during or after a meal. If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended that you take the tablets during meals. Ibudolor akut should not be used for longer than 4 days without medical advice. In the event of an overdose, symptoms such as nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, headache and breathing problems may occur.
