Retterspitz Erkältungstropfen is a herbal remedy for the treatment of respiratory diseases and a liniment for muscle and nerve pain. It is used internally and externally for colds of the upper respiratory tract and for rheumatic complaints. It is used by ingesting 2-4 drops on sugar or in warm water, inhaling 3-4 drops in hot water or rubbing a few drops on the skin of the chest and back or the affected areas of the skin. The duration of use should be discussed with a doctor in the case of acute complaints that last longer than a week or recur periodically. Retterspitz Cold Drops must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to eucalyptus oil or in the case of inflammatory diseases in the gastrointestinal tract, in the area of the bile ducts or in the case of severe liver diseases. Wash your hands thoroughly after rubbing in the drops. The side effects of Retterspitz cold drops are rare and may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or hypersensitivity reactions such as shortness of breath. There is a risk of laryngospasm in children under two years of age. It is recommended to consult a doctor or pharmacist in case of side effects. Retterspitz Erkältungstropfen should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be disposed of in the waste water.
