Desloraderm 5 mg film-coated tablets are an anti-allergic medicine used to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and urticaria (hives). They contain the active ingredient desloratadine, which fights the allergic reaction and its symptoms. Desloraderm relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy palate and itchy, red or watery eyes. It also relieves the itching and wheals of hives. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor, depending on the nature of the condition. The recommended dose for adults and adolescents 12 years and older is one tablet daily. It is taken with water, regardless of meals. No serious consequences are expected in the event of an accidental overdose. If a dose is forgotten, it should be taken as soon as possible, but not a double dose. Desloraderm should be protected from heat and moisture and stored in the dark. The tablet contains 5 mg desloratadine and other excipients.
