Information for use of the article Mepitel One Silicone Mesh Bandage 10x18 cm: - Product features: Mepitel One silicone mesh dressing is a transparent wound dressing coated on one side with Safetac technology. It is designed to treat painful wounds and wounds with sensitive skin such as burns, abrasions, lacerations and chronic wounds. The open mesh structure allows wound secretions to drain into a secondary dressing and facilitates topical treatment. Thanks to the one-sided adhesion, the dressing stays well in place, which minimises the risk of maceration. The highly transparent layer allows assessment of the healing process without removal of the contact layer. The dressing leaves no residue and retains its functional properties permanently. It can remain on the wound for up to 14 days and minimises trauma and pain during dressing changes thanks to Safetac technology. - Areas of application: Mepitel One protects both the wound and the surrounding skin. It is suitable for various types of wounds, such as skin tears, abrasions, surgical wounds, second-degree burns, blisters, lacerations and cuts, as well as superficial and deep skin graft wounds, diabetic ulcers and venous and arterial ulcers.
