Hepar-SL® 320 mg is a herbal medicine that contains the extract of the leaves of the royal artichoke.This product is used for digestive disorders, especially functional disorders of the biliary system.It helps relieve symptoms such as bloating, bloating, upper abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting and promotes fat digestion.No prescription is required for this product.

One capsule of Hepar-SL® 320 mg hard capsules contains 320 mg artichoke leaf dry extract (4-6:1), using water as the extractant.The other ingredients include hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), colloidal silicon dioxide, talc, titanium dioxide, quinoline yellow and brilliant blue FCF.

Hepar-SL® 320 mg hard capsules support digestion in indigestion and functional disorders of the biliary system.They help to achieve active and rapid fat digestion and easily absorb food.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.Children under 12 years of age, pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding are not allowed to take the product as there are no sufficient studies available.If you have gallstones, the product should only be taken after consulting a doctor.Concomitant use with coumarin-type anticoagulants may reduce the effectiveness of these agents and dosage adjustment may be necessary.

Dosage

Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults can take 2 hard capsules whole twice a day with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of drinking water, with main meals.If larger quantities are taken, a doctor should be notified.Missed doses should not be compensated for by a double dose.

Intake

Please take the medicine whole with sufficient liquid, such as a glass of water, with meals.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine.If taken at the same time as anticoagulants of the coumarin type, a doctor should be consulted.If symptoms last longer than a week or recur regularly, a doctor should be consulted.There are no sufficient studies available for use in children under 12 years of age.To date, there is no known influence on the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

The medicine should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient examinations.
