Instructions for use of the article Allevyn Silver Foam Dressing Heel Non-Adherent: - Allevyn Silver Foam Dressing Heel Non-Adherent is an antimicrobial wound dressing suitable for problem areas such as heel, elbow, amputation stumps, toes and testicles. - The dressing consists of an absorbent foam core with integrated silver, which supports the treatment of infection-prone and infected wounds with moderate to heavy exudation. - The antimicrobial effect of the silver protects against a wide range of pathogens, including MRSA. - The foam dressing provides good cushioning and can be cut to fit a variety of wounds. - It is recommended to use OPSITE Flexigrid or bandages to hold the dressing in place. - Allevyn Silver Foam Dressing Heel Non-Adherent helps wounds heal faster and reduces pain through fewer dressing changes, maceration and skin irritation. - The dressing is soft, flexible and conformable and does not stick to the wound. - It is ideal for use on infected wounds or wounds at risk of infection and provides a moist wound environment. - The dressing saves time and costs due to its longer dressing lying time of up to 7 days (5 days in the sacral region).
