Instructions for use of the article Agnolyt Madaus tincture of chaste tree fruits: Agnolyt Madaus is a herbal medicinal product for the treatment of menstrual disorders. It is used for menstrual irregularities, feelings of tension and swelling in the breasts (mastodynia) and monthly recurring complaints before the onset of menstruation (premenstrual syndrome, PMS). A doctor should be consulted before taking the product, as there may be conditions that require medical examination. Agnolyt Madaus must not be taken by people who have already had an allergic reaction to chasteberry or any of the other ingredients of the medicine, by people with breast tumours or tumours of the pituitary gland (pituitary tumours) and by children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also not take the medicine. Possible side effects include skin rash, itching and hives. Agnolyt Madaus contains alcohol and should therefore be used with caution in people with liver disease, alcoholics, epileptics, people with brain damage, pregnant women, nursing mothers and children. The recommended dose is 40 drops per day and should not be exceeded. The medicine can be taken undiluted or diluted with water or tea. It is recommended to continue the treatment for a few weeks even after the symptoms have improved. The medicinal product should be protected from light and moisture and stored at room temperature.
