Information for use with the article Agnolyt Madaus tincture of chaste tree fruits: - The active substance is tincture of chaste mud fruit. - Indications are menstrual anomalies, mastodynia and premenstrual complaints. - The tincture contains 58% alcohol by volume and may only be used in liver patients, epileptics, brain crabs or brain-damaged persons after consultation with the doctor. - There are certain indications and contraindications to be observed, e.g. hypersensitivity to the ingredients or tumours of the pituitary gland. - Possible side effects include headache, nausea and itching. - The recommended dosage for adults is 40 drops per day. - The medicine must not be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding. - The storage period is 2 months after opening the bottle. I have been using the tincture for a few months now to bring my cycle back into balance after stopping the pill and can say that it has helped me a lot. Unfortunately it doesn't taste good, it's quite bitter, but if it helps you can cope with that :)
