Pelargonium ratiopharm Bronchial drops contain the active substance Pelargonium sidoides, an extract from the roots of the Pelargonium plant. These drops are used to treat acute bronchitis. They have an anti-inflammatory effect and help to relieve the symptoms of bronchitis. The recommended dosage varies according to age: for adults and adolescents over 12 years, it is 30 drops three times a day; for children 6-12 years, it is 20 drops three times a day; and for children 1-5 years, it is 10 drops three times a day. The drops should be taken with some liquid and the duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks. There are some contraindications to the use of these drops, such as hypersensitivity to the ingredients, liver disease or increased bleeding tendency.
