Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

Each 25 ml sachet MOVICOL® ready to drink contains the following active ingredients: macrogol 3350 (13.125 g), sodium chloride (0.3508 g), sodium hydrogen carbonate (0.1786 g) and potassium chloride (0.0502 g).The product also contains purified water, sucralose as a sweetener, strawberry and banana flavor, celery herb and propylene glycol.

Contraindications

Do not take MOVICOL® ready to drink if you have a narrowing of the intestine or an intestinal obstruction, have been diagnosed with a perforation of the intestine, have severe inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease or toxic megacolon or are hypersensitive to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of MOVICOL® ready to drink.

Dosage

For good health, including a healthy gut, it is recommended to drink enough fluids (2 to 2.5 liters) daily.If you are constipated, take 1 sachet MOVICOL® ready to drink 1 to 3 times a day, depending on the severity of the constipation.The usual treatment period is around 2 weeks.If necessary, it can be taken longer, especially if the constipation is caused by an illness or certain medications.In this case the usual dose is 1 or 2 sachets per day.

If you take a larger amount of MOVICOL® ready to drink than intended, diarrhea and dehydration may occur.In this case, stop taking the medication and drink plenty of fluids.If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacy.

If you forget to take MOVICOL® Ready to Drink, take the missed dose as soon as you remember.

Intake

You can take MOVICOL® ready to drink at any time and regardless of food and drink intake.Drink the contents of the sachet directly from the sachet.It is not necessary to dilute the product with water.Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged.

Patient information

In case of renal insufficiency, no dosage adjustment is required for MOVICOL® ready to drink.Your ability to drive or use machines is not affected by MOVICOL® ready to drink.

Pregnancy

MOVICOL® ready to drink can be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding.If you are pregnant, want to become pregnant or are breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacy for advice before taking MOVICOL® ready to drink.

Other

Keep MOVICOL® ready to drink, out of the reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the sachet.Do not store the product in the refrigerator or freeze and not above 30°C.

The effectiveness of some medicines, such as anti-epileptic drugs, may be reduced while taking MOVICOL® ready to drink.Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.
