NaraDex® for migraines
Naratriptan: Remarkably tolerated during seizures
The exact cause of migraines is not yet fully understood. However, it is known that various forms of migraine can be associated with circulatory problems in the blood vessels in the brain. In addition, the brain of migraine sufferers reacts more sensitively to external stimuli, and inflammatory processes in the nervous system play a role in some types of migraine.Individual triggers can set a process in motion that ultimately ends in a migraine attack.Among other things, serotonin is involved, which is present in excessive amounts in the body in the acute case of a migraine. The triptan group of active ingredients specifically targets the serotonin involvement in migraine attacks and can interrupt the process and stop a migraine attack.
Some triptans work quickly but have a shorter duration of action.Others, such as naratriptan, provide longer-lasting relief from symptoms.NaraDex® 2.5 mg is well tolerated and can effectively relieve migraine pain and accompanying symptoms.
No prescription is required for this product.
Area of application
The film-coated tablets contain naratriptan, which belongs to the group of triptans. These are used to treat migraines.Migraine symptoms can be caused by a temporary dilation of the blood vessels in the head.Naratriptan reduces this dilatation, thereby relieving headaches and relieving other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and noise.
