Remifemin plus St. John's wort film-coated tablets are used to relieve menopausal symptoms. They contain a unique isopropanolic special extract from the rootstock of the black cohosh and St. John's wort. This combination is not only effective against physical complaints such as hot flushes and sweating, but also against mental symptoms such as mood swings, nervousness and irritability. The recommended dosage is 2 film-coated tablets 2 times a day at the beginning of treatment, and 1 film-coated tablet 2 times a day from the 9th week onwards. The film-coated tablets are taken unchewed with liquid. Remifemin plus St. John's wort film-coated tablets should not be used for longer than 6 months without medical advice. Side effects may occur. In the event of an overdose, a doctor should be contacted immediately. The medicinal product is not intended for children, adolescents and men. The package leaflet should be read before use.
