Reparil dragees Madaus are enteric-coated tablets containing the active ingredient aescin. They have a decongestant and anti-inflammatory effect on injuries. The medicine can be used for localised swelling after injuries. It must not be taken if you are allergic to aescin or any of the other ingredients, have renal insufficiency or are pregnant. Side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort. The dosage varies according to age and is 2 tablets 3 times a day initially for adults and adolescents aged 14 and over. The duration of use is not limited. Reparil dragees Madaus are taken unchewed with liquid after meals. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and must not be used after the expiry date. It contains lactose and sucrose and must not be taken if you have an intolerance to these substances. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions or uncertainties.
