NUROFEN® Lemon 200 mg Ibuprofen orodispersible tablets
The NUROFEN® Lemon melting tablets with 200 mg ibuprofen are especially suitable for children from 6 years of age (from 20 kg body weight), teenagers and adults.They help relieve mild to moderate pain such as headaches, period pains and toothaches, as well as reduce fever.The melting tablets taste pleasantly of lemon and dissolve quickly on the tongue, so they can be taken without water and on the go.This practical application makes it the ideal companion for traveling or an active everyday life.They are also particularly suitable for people with swallowing difficulties.
Areas of application
NUROFEN 200 mg Ibuprofen orodispersible tablets Lemon belong to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAR).They have a pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory and fever-reducing effect.The product is used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches and period pains as well as to reduce fever.
Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients
The orodispersible tablets contain 200 mg ibuprofen as the active ingredient.Excipients include 15 mg of aspartame, phenylalanine, croscarmellose sodium salt, ethylcellulose, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, mannitol, precipitated silica and lemon flavor.
Contraindications
NUROFEN 200 mg Ibuprofen orodispersible tablets Lemon should not be used if you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, if you are hypersensitive to other painkillers, if you have a history of bronchospasm, asthma, nasal inflammation or hives in connection with taking acetylsalicylic acid or other painkillers, if you have had stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding in the past, if you have unexplained blood clotting disorders, if you have cerebral hemorrhages or other active bleeding, if you have severeHepatic insufficiency, severe renal insufficiency, severe heart failure, in systemic lupus erythematosus as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Dosage
The orodispersible tablets should be allowed to melt on the tongue and the dissolved mass should be swallowed.Additional fluid intake is not necessary.If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take it during meals.The tablets should not be used for longer than 3 days without medical advice.The dosing interval should not be less than 6 hours and the maximum daily dose should not be exceeded.
Children 6 to 9 years old (20-28 kg): single dose 1 tablet (200 mg ibuprofen), maximum daily dose 3 tablets (600 mg ibuprofen).Children 10 to 12 years old (29-40 kg): single dose 1 tablet (200 mg ibuprofen), maximum daily dose 4 tablets (800 mg ibuprofen).Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over (from 40 kg): Single dose 1-2 tablets (200-400 mg ibuprofen), maximum daily dose 6 tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen).
Intake
Let the orodispersible tablets dissolve on your tongue and swallow the dissolved mass.Additional fluid intake is not necessary.
Patient information
No prescription is required for this product.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have an infection, certain skin diseases, congenital problems with blood formation, blood clotting problems, stomach and intestinal diseases, reduced kidney function, liver problems or if you are trying to become pregnant.Shortness of breath may occur if you have asthma or allergic reactions.If you have hay fever, nasal polyps or chronic obstructive respiratory diseases, the risk of an allergic reaction is greater.Taking it during chickenpox should be avoided.If taken for a long time, liver values, kidney function and blood counts should be monitored regularly.Side effects can be reduced by taking the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time.Older people may experience side effects more frequently.Habitual use of painkillers can cause permanent, serious kidney damage.Prolonged use of painkillers for headaches can make them worse.Simultaneous use with other NSAR should be avoided.There is a risk of kidney dysfunction in dehydrated children and adolescents.Special medical supervision is necessary immediately after a major surgical procedure.
Pregnancy
NUROFEN 200 mg Ibuprofen orodispersible tablets Lemon must not be taken during the last 3 months of pregnancy.In the first 6 months of pregnancy, the medicine should only be taken as prescribed by a doctor. The medicine passes into breast milk but can be taken during breast-feeding if the recommended dose is adhered to and used for the shortest possible time.Avoid taking it if you want to become pregnant.If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Notes
You should not use NUROFEN 200 mg Ibuprofen Melttablets Lemon for longer than 3 days and/or in higher doses without medical advice.If you have pain or fever, do not use for longer than stated in the package leaflet without medical advice.The orodispersible tablets contain aspartame and sodium.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
Migraine
Common symptoms of a migraine include throbbing pain on one or both sides of the head, nausea, and sensitivity to light or sound.The first warning signs can include:Visual disturbances occur - this is then referred to as a migraine with aura.
Tension headaches
A tension headache can feel like a squeezing pressure on the head or neck, a mild to moderate feeling of pain rather than throbbing, without nausea or nausea.This type of headache can radiate to the back of the head and can also affect the forehead and/or temples.Children may be sleepier than usual. Tension headaches can last from half an hour to several days.
Secondary headaches
