400 mg Soft Capsules is an over-the-counter medicine containing the active ingredient ibuprofen. It is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, including headache, toothache, backache, joint pain and menstrual pain. It can also be used for pain associated with colds. The soft capsules are taken with water and are suitable for ages 12 years and older. The maximum daily dose is 3 soft capsules. There are some contraindications, such as hypersensitivity to the ingredients, ulcers in the digestive tract or severe fluid deficiency. Side effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort, headache and skin reactions may occur. It is important to read the package leaflet and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.
