Active ingredient: 2.5 mg Naratriptan (as 2.78 mg Naratriptan hydrochloride).

Other components:

Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.) [pflanzlich].

Film coating: hypromellose (E 464), lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide (E 171), triacetin, iron (III) hydroxide oxide x H2O (E 172), indigo carmine aluminum salt (E 132).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Adults between 18 and 65 years of age should take one film-coated tablet as soon as possible after the onset of the migraine headache.The tablets are also effective if taken later during the migraine attack.

If there is improvement after the first dose but the pain returns, a second film-coated tablet can be taken, but not earlier than four hours after the first tablet.In total, no more than two film-coated tablets may be taken within 24 hours.

Intake

The usual dose for adults aged 18 to 65 is one film-coated tablet taken whole with water.

Patient information

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.There is limited information on safety in pregnant women.

Do not breast-feed your baby for 24 hours after taking it.During this time, express milk and discard it.

Notes

Naratriptan HEUMANN contains lactose.The use is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age and for adults over 65 years of age.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
