proff pain gel is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory gel that is applied to the skin. It contains the active ingredient ibuprofen and is used for various pains and inflammations. The areas of application include acute strains, sprains or bruises, muscular rheumatism, arthrosis, inflammatory rheumatic diseases of the joints and spine, swelling and inflammation of the soft tissues near the joints, frozen shoulder, low back pain and lumbago. The gel strand is 4-10 cm long and should be applied to the affected area 3-4 times a day and rubbed in gently. The maximum total daily dose is 20 g of gel. The gel should not be applied to open injuries, inflammations or eczema and should not be used in the last trimester of pregnancy. Side effects may include local skin reactions such as redness, itching and rash. In case of overdose, the gel should be removed and washed off with water. The gel should be kept out of the reach of children at a temperature below 25 °C. The shelf life after opening is 3 months. The package leaflet should be read carefully before use.
