ThermaCare Larger Pain Area Heat Wraps are ideal for treating shoulder and upper back pain.The skin-friendly pads with 13 patented heat cells can be used flexibly and are attached to the skin with four adhesive points.No prescription is required for this product.

These heat compresses provide effective relief from muscle and joint pain caused by overexertion, strains and sprains, osteoarthritis or muscle tension.They are suitable for acute, chronic and occasional pain and are suitable for people aged 12 and over who can use the product independently.

The heat generation of ThermaCare is based on a natural principle: heat through oxidation.When they come into contact with air, the compresses and pads heat up automatically without the need for active pharmaceutical ingredients.This allows muscle, period and joint pain to be naturally relieved to support a more pain-free life.

The ingredients of ThermaCare heat compresses for larger pain areas include the following components in each heat cell: iron powder, salt, activated carbon and water.

Contraindications

Do not use the product in combination with medicated liniments, plasters or other heat sources.Avoid use on diseased, injured or damaged skin, on bruises or swelling, and on areas of the body without the sensation of warmth.People who cannot remove the product themselves should not use it.

If you have diabetes, circulatory problems, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis or during pregnancy, please consult a doctor before use.If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Tear open the bag immediately before use and do not cut into the heat envelope.Peel away the paper to reveal the adhesive side and place the envelope over the pain area with the adhesive side facing the skin.It may take up to 30 minutes for ThermaCare to reach its therapeutic temperature.Remove the heat pack after 8 hours.

Notes

This product may cause burns or blisters.Check your skin regularly during use.If skin irritation or burns occur, remove the product immediately.For users between 12 and 18 years old or people who cannot use the product independently, supervision by a carer is required.

The risk of burns increases with age.If you are 55 or older, wear ThermaCare over thin clothing and not while sleeping.Consult a doctor before use if you have diabetes, circulatory problems, heart disease or rheumatoid arthritis, or if you are pregnant.Stop use and talk to a doctor if you notice any discomfort, burning, swelling, rashes, or other persistent changes in your skin, or if your pain persists for more than 7 days or worsens.

Each heat cell contains iron powder (approx. 2g).If swallowed, seek professional help immediately.In case of skin or eye contact, remove the heat pack, rinse the affected area with water and seek professional help immediately.If the heat wrap becomes damaged or tears during use, remove it.Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets and do not microwave or reheat the product as it may catch fire.

Do not use the product if the heat cells are leaking or the heat envelope is damaged or torn.Avoid use with topically applied preparations, on diseased, damaged or injured skin, on bruises and swellings that have occurred in the last 48 hours, and on people who cannot follow the instructions for use or cannot remove the product themselves.Do not use the product with other types of heat, on users under 12 years of age, or on the face/head, breasts, fingers, groin, feet or toes, on the back of the knee or inside of the arm or forearm, or on the lower abdomen.
