Instructions for use for BoxaGrippal cold tablets 200 mg/30 mg film-coated tablets, 10 pcs

BoxaGrippal cold tablets at the first symptoms of a cold

A cold often starts harmlessly with a slight scratchy throat.Cough and runny nose come later. With BoxaGrippal you can effectively counteract the first signs of a cold. The combination of active ingredients combats the typical symptoms of a cold. The tablets have an anti-inflammatory effect and relieve colds, headaches, body aches, sore throats and fever.

Get rid of a stuffy nose quickly and effectively with BoxaGrippal

BoxaGrippal can also be used for a stuffy nose. The active ingredient pseudoephedrine ensures that the mucous membranes in the nose and sinuses quickly decrease. This allows inflammatory secretions to flow away, breathing becomes easier and the mucous membrane can recover. In contrast to nasal sprays, which only reach the nose, BoxaGrippal cold tablets work right into the sinuses.

Quickly relieves symptoms and provides pain relief with ibuprofen

Another active ingredient in BoxaGrippal is ibuprofen. It has pain-relieving, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects. The tasteless tablets not only treat the classic cold symptoms, but also combat inflammation in the body that can cause fever, for example.

Practical dosage of cold tablets even on the go

Taking BoxaGrippal is uncomplicated and can therefore be done on the go.Take one tablet whole with a large glass of water, preferably with a meal.Important: Do not take the tablets with alcohol.Adults and teenagers aged 15 and over can take one tablet every six hours. If the symptoms become more severe, you can increase the dose to two tablets every six hours. The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets. The medicine is not suitable for children. It is not recommended to take BoxaGrippal before sleeping because it contains the active ingredient pseudoephedrine, which can have a stimulating effect.

Information

BoxaGrippal cold tablets combine the active ingredients ibuprofen (200 mg) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (30 mg, abbreviation: PSE).The combination preparation is five times effective for blocked nose and sinuses in conjunction with headaches, sore throats, body aches and fever. It treats cold symptoms, clears the nose and fights inflammation at the same time.Ibuprofen belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).NSAIDs have pain-relieving and fever-reducing effects.Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride belongs to the group of drugs known as vasoconstrictors, whose vasoconstricting effect causes the nasal mucosa to swell.BoxaGrippal cold tablets are used for the symptomatic treatment of swelling of the mucous membranes of the nose and sinuses associated with headaches, fever and cold-related pain in adolescents aged 15 and over and adults. You should only use this combination medicine if you have both a stuffy nose and pain or fever. If you only have one of these symptoms, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist about treatment with just ibuprofen or just pseudoephedrine hydrochloride alone. If you do not feel better or feel worse after 5 days, contact your doctor.

Mode of action

The combination of the active ingredients ibuprofen (200 mg) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (30 mg) can alleviate unpleasant cold and flu symptoms and specifically combat inflammation in the body.Ibuprofen has a pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory effect and reduces fever. The ingredient is considered to be easier on the stomach compared to acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) and is more anti-inflammatory than paracetamol.Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride also acts like a “nasal spray from the inside”: it combats nasal congestion and sinusitis. The mucous membranes in the nose and sinuses swell and the inflammatory secretion can flow away unhindered.
